This is adapted from a recipe that I have seen floating around the internet for the past few weeks and I finally decided I needed to make it using my Apple Pie Spice. Serve these crescent rolls with ice cream for dessert or with your favorite coffee drink as a great fall morning pick me up!
1 tablespoon Victoria Taylor’s Apple Pie Spice
3 tablespoons sugar
1 package crescent rolls
1 baking apple, cored and sliced into 8 slices
2 tablespoons melted butter
Mix sugar and Apple Pie Spice in a small bowl. Melt the butter and allow it to cool. Unroll the Crescent rolls. Separate into individual triangles. Lightly brush the melted butter on each roll and sprinkle with half of the sugar and spice mixture.
Place an apple slice on the wide end and roll up. Do this until all triangles are gone. Place on a cookie sheet with parchment paper or lightly greased foil.
Sprinkle with remaining Apple Pie Spice and sugar mixture. Bake for 20 minutes in a 350° oven and serve warm.
