2 Tablespoons Toasted Onion Herb
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
3/4 cup dry white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
4 ounces Gruyere cheese, cubed
4 ounces Emmentaler cheese, cubed
1-1/2 teaspoon cornstarch or flour
French Bread, Apples or Favorite Dipping Foods

1. In a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat.
2. Stir in the onions and sugar. Cook until caramelized; about 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Add in the wine, flour and Toasted Onion Herb seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer stirring occasionally.
4. Slowly stir in the cheeses and cook until cheese has melted.
5. Transfer to a fondue pot; keep warm over low heat/flame.
