Mushrooms aren’t for everyone but those of us that like them tend to be obsessed. Serve these as a side or as a topping for steak, chicken or pork chops to instantly make any dish a little more special.
Clean mushrooms and trim stems of any tough or dirty ends. Chop roughly. Heat butter over medium-high heat in a sauté pan or cast iron skillet. When foam subsides, add mushrooms and Toasted Onion Herb. Cook for 8 – 10 minutes until limp. Add sherry and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, to evaporate the alcohol. A fantastic way to serve these mushrooms is to spoon them over my recipe for an Easy Egg Noodle Feast. Best, Victoria
