Sugar and Spice Nuts
Ingredients
1 tablespoon Apple Pie Spice
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon water
3 cups nuts of your choice (pecans, walnuts, peanuts, almonds)
1/2 cup sugar

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. In a small bowl beat the egg white with the water. Stir in the nuts, mixing until well moistened.
3. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and Apple Pie Spice. Sprinkle over the moistened nuts. Spread nuts on the prepared pan.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring nuts after 10 minutes and again at 20 minutes.
Nuts go from toasted to burned very quickly. Don't take your off eye off the oven.

Spiced nuts are an addictive classic holiday snack. I used a mix of a few different kinds of nuts but you can pick and choose your favorites.
