Since cherry tomatoes are grown all year-round, this beautiful salad with flavors of the Middle East can be made anytime. Recipe adapted by Sam Sifton.
1/2 yellow bell pepper, seeded, very thinly sliced
1/2 red onion, very thinly sliced
1/3 cup loosely packed basil leaves, roughly torn
1/3 cup loosely packed mint leaves, roughly torn
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3 ounces feta cheese

Directions
1. In a small bowl whisk together the Za'atar and 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl combine the tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, bell pepper, onion, basil, mint, lemon juice, remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil and salt. Gently toss salad.
3. Transfer salad to a serving bowl or salad plates, drizzle with prepared Za'atar dressing and crumble with feta. Serve immediately.
