Asparagus with Shallots
A simple side dish that pairs well with any protein at brunch, lunch or dinner.
1 bunch of asparagus, washed, ends trimmed
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons Shallots
In a microwave safe bowl, add the asparagus and 1/4 cup of water. Cover in plastic wrap and microwave for 4 minutes.
Carefully drain the water, add the butter and shallots. Cover for 1 minute to allow the butter to melt and shallots to soften.
Platter asparagus and sprinkle with sea salt to taste.
